Important: Sizes are not universal across brands. Regular US sizes and W (plus) sizes may use different fits. Please check measurements before choosing a dress. Hollow to Floor means the distance from the hollow at the base of your neck to the floor, not your full height.

How to Measure

Use a soft measuring tape. Keep it comfortably snug and parallel to the floor when taking circumference measurements.

1. Bust

Wear the bra you plan to wear with the dress. Wrap the tape around the fullest part of your bust, keeping it level across your back. Do not pull it too tight.

2. Waist

Measure around your natural waistline, usually the narrowest part of your torso. Relax your stomach and leave the tape comfortably snug.

3. Hips

Stand with your feet together and measure around the fullest part of your hips and seat. Make sure the tape stays horizontal.

4. Hollow to Floor

Stand upright with your feet together, preferably barefoot. Measure straight from the hollow at the base of your neck (between the collarbones) to the floor. This is not your total body height.

Measurement Tips & Important Notes

  • Ask someone to help you measure for the most accurate results, especially the hollow-to-floor length.
  • Use a flexible measuring tape over light clothing or undergarments; never measure over bulky clothes.
  • Keep the tape straight, neither too loose nor too tight, and measure each area twice.
  • Check all three body measurements (bust, waist and hips) rather than choosing a size based only on your usual clothing size.
  • If your measurements fall between sizes, we usually recommend choosing the larger size and having the dress altered if needed.
  • Hollow-to-floor is measured without shoes unless the specific product instructions state otherwise. Heel height can affect the final dress length.
  • For fitted styles and plus-size dresses, follow the measurements shown for that particular style when available, or contact roselledress customer support for advice.
